Roof Of Brockton Woodworking Business Collapses | Weather - Wcvb Home

"This really couldnt have happened at a worse time for us," Freitas said. Freitas believes the structural integrity of the building is still sound. He is meeting with Brockton Mayor Bill Carpenter, Brockton Fire Chief Richard Francis and other city officials to see if the building will need to be condemned and torn down. Freitas did not have insurance on the building and was waiting until the spring to redo the roof so he could apply for insurance, he said. If the building needs to be torn down he fears he may need to go out of business to pay for the demolition. "If I have to rip down the building and pay for that Ill be pretty well exhausted," he said. "Ill probably go out of business." In recent weeks there have been several roof collapses of business in region including Rockland, Bridgewater and West Bridgewater. Tweet Copyright 2015 by WCVB.com All rights reserved.

Sudbury man restored and rides 1947 Indian Chief motorcycle - News - Ashland TAB - Ashland, MA

Has your interest in motorcycles and restoration always been a hobby or was it ever anything more? Classic bikes have always been a hobby. I would only sell one to raise money to buy something else. What other pursuits do you have that are related to your motorcycle hobby? The other hobby I enjoy is the restoration of classic boats. Being a builder, the woodworking comes naturally to me. I am currently restoring an 18-foot 1953 Chris Craft Riviera. The series has focused almost primarily on classic cars but this will be the second motorcycle featured here.
